Nikka Days
Founded in 1934 by Suntory's first master distiller, Nikka has risen to become Japan's second largest distiller, producing a wide range of single malts as well as their impressive blended whisky range. In 1918, Masataka Taketsuru embarked alone on a long voyage to Scotland. In this distant land the secrets of whisky-making would be imparted to this young Japanese man.
Nikka Days is a bright and vivacious blend of malt and grain whiskies from distilleries including both Yoichi and Miyagikyo. Its medium body hosts an array of floral and zesty flavors which mingle effortlessly with an underlying vanilla-toffee depth and a light, distant touch of breezy peat smoke. A fresh and delicate whisky, Nikka Days makes a delicious sipping dram or sits beautifully in a refreshing highball.
